Joe Schumacher is FCSN’s state director for Virginia and a member of FCSN’s education committee. Joe is an engine captain with the City of Fairfax (VA) Fire Department. “I lost both of my parents to cancer, and I am a two-time survivor myself. I want to help prevent other firefighters from having to endure a fight against cancer.”
