In September, Stater Bros. Charities and the Inland Women Fighting Cancer presented a check for $25,000 to the FCSN. FCSN representatives Dan Murphy, Board Chair of Philanthropy, and Scott Jennie, California State Director, attended the event with firefighters from the Redlands Fire Dept.
“We are so grateful for this generous donation”, said California State Director Scott Jennie. “This support will allow us to fund 100 of our signature toolboxes to distribute to firefighters diagnosed with cancer in the Southern California area and provide cancer awareness and prevention education at fire departments and Fire Service Health and Safety conferences in Los Angeles County, San Bernardino, San Diego, Orange, Kern, Ventura counties.”

The Believe Walk, presented by Stater Bros. Charities and Inland Women Fighting Cancer, is a 5K cancer walk that supports the fight against all types of cancer. The Believe Walk brings a community together to celebrate survivors, support fighters and thrivers, and honor those who are no longer with us. More than a walk, the Believe Walk is a movement that raises funds to support the critical needs of cancer patients and their families in our local communities. The Believe Walk stewards donor funds by investing in programs and services at local cancer-fighting organizations in Southern California.
