The second annual Run to Remember presented by TenCate Protective Fabrics is in the books! We thank all of our supporters who took part in the April 27 run and walk. This year’s race was dedicated to the memory of Chief Bobby Halton, who served as Fire Engineering’s editor-in-chief prior to his untimely passing last year. He was a friend, mentor, and partner of FCSN, and he is greatly missed.
Congratulations to Kathy Halton Wright for being our top fundraiser and winning the inaugural Bobby Halton Award.
1) $1,555 — Kathy Halton Wright
2) $875 — Bernadette Halton Black
3) $875— Theresa Halton Johnson
4) $775 — Elizabeth Halton
5) $700 — Mary Cahill
Money raised supports the mission of FCSN, to assist firefighters and EMS providers and their immediate families diagnosed with cancer by providing badge to badge support, training and guidance.
We are so grateful that participants could celebrate Bobby’s life at the event, and want to thank you for supporting firefighters who are cancer survivors or currently battling cancer and also for honoring firefighters who’ve lost their battle to cancer.
We hope you can join us next April for the 2024 event!
